The Club at Crazy Horse Ranch
21.8 miles from De Anza Inn
Formerly known as Salinas Golf & Country Club, The Club at Crazy Horse Ranch has the reputation for being “the friendliest club in the area.” This 18-hole course originally opened in 1925 with nine holes, making it one of the areas oldest clubs, but do not label them as traditional. Even though the course may seem a little short at just over 6,200 yards from the back tees, do not underestimate the level of difficulty it holds. It has a tight layout that requires exceptional accuracy. There is so much variety here that, like Spyglass Hill, you may find yourself using all the clubs in your bag. This course rolls across the countryside and includes mature trees and the occasional water hazard, and the final tee is elevated to offer you a magnificent view of the Salinas Valley.

Bayonet & Black Horse Golf Courses
5.3 miles from De Anza Inn
After a $13 million renovation in 2008, these two courses reopened with many changes including hole re-routings that revealed new playing options and stunning ocean views.
Bayonet has narrow playing corridors and is considered the most difficult test of golf on the Monterey Peninsula. Are you up for the challenge? It still has quite the bite, but there has been an improvement in its playability and strategic options. The ninth hole is an excellent example with its “uphill, dogleg right, 476-yard, par 4” challenge.
Black Horse, has slickly contoured greens and distinctive bunkers that can be found along their fairways that include fantastic sweeping views of the Pacific Ocean.
