Less than 10 miles from the Pacific Ocean and the beautiful town of Monterey, you will find the Laguna Seca Raceway and Recreation Area. Visitors come here from around the world to see their historic road course. This race-course was built in 1957 and is world-renowned for its extraordinary racing history and The Corkscrew. The Corkscrew’s elevation change is a one-of-a-kind turn in motorsports, which in 450 feet length intervals drops 59 feet…the equivalent of a 5½ story drop!

The Recreation Area has both RV and tent camping on the surrounding hillsides that offer stunning views of the Salinas Valley. This area is a must-see for those interested in nature, hiking, bicycling, or the outdoors in general.

The Hospitality Pavilion at the Recreation Area works with groups of all sizes for every occasion and can host for meeting space or party rentals with customizable packages to create your perfect event environment.

The Laguna Seca Recreation Area even has a Rifle & Pistol Range where they offer a safe shooting environment with well-trained, professional staff members to assist you.
